Did you get up on the wrong side this morning /pine? I'm not placing various values on creatures or making moral statments,just stating what I've witnessed. I've accidently ran over and caught more things in car grills than I've seen cats kill but quite a different thing with dogs. Nothing more,nothing less.

Ignoring a colossus ecological problem because it does not necessarily have an affect on a typical person's life is no reason to pass it off as unimportant.
Of the many mistakes mankind has made...the problem with feral cats is one that can be corrected...

But like the low life scumbags mentioned above...something that is out of sight is out of mind...!

You're commenting on a global ecological problem but rationalizing it as trivial and relating it to your own personal micro bubble...

Feral cats... Haven't seen any of them around here in years due to the Coyote's. What we do have that is sad and disturbing, are dogs that are not neutered or spayed, and locals who think a dog should roam free, or worse yet, be chained up 24/7. The root of either one of these problems are not the animals themselves, but the lack of education of the humans involved. As far as a " Global Ecological Problem ", my money is on Climatic change, not cats running wild...

Get some private money into the deal. Start up a franchise that specializes in GMO, organic, low saturated fat, and free range, meat. Make it exotic and yummy, maybe throw in some salsa.....

Make it work with avocado toast and the millennials will line up for it.

That is a great point, and valid; I should have been more clear in that I see the melting of the Earth's permafrost to be the next " great catastrophe " around the corner.
