Hi Guys,
After owning quite a few different Bobcat skid steers, I purchased a 2010 Toolcat 5600 with 1200 hours at an auction. I bought it on a whim and really didn't do my homework as I normally do. Got the unit home and everything was working fine. I did learn later that Toolcats have a huge rust problem and that I unfortunately bought a rusty unit. My past and current skid steers never really rusted as bad as theis Toolcat has. In anycase, I did a little rust and paint work to stop the bleeding and then I completed a few chores with the machine. I really like the Toolcat as an addition to the skid steer arsenal, cool little machine.
Trouble is, after using the unit just a couple times, I have a big time hydraulic leak in the back near the fan the is under the radiator. There are hydraulic hoses the power the dump box as well as it appears the cooling fan itself is hydraulic powered. With all the wind blowing back there, I cannot tell what is leaking.
Is the a common issue with a Toolcat? If so, anything to target in an attempt to fix this?
Thanks...
