I'll see how I like it. Then decide if I want to send it down the road. I have already been offered more than I paid:thumbsup:
And remember, about a dozen chains came with it. With about 8 of the chains being 80% +.
And 3/8" full chisel .050 and 72dl makes it fit a whole slew of other saws I have that also wear a 20". Not to mention a couple of spare bars......makes the cost of the saw more like $150-$200 all said and done![]()
Reringing and deleting base gasket on a locals saw. New muffler he brought to add too.

Picked up a Craftsman 3.0 saw at a garage sale few years ago. Never could get it to run reliably, some kind of carburetor issue. Think it's worth repairing?
It is grey/black, and at least similar to the ones in your picture. When I get home on Sunday I will check for sure.Grey 3.0 with the mag case? Most times the impulse line, then fuel line, carb kit. Also check for a boot tear under clamp if been abused.
Great 49cc bare bore saw with chrome piston. If the saw you have. can put a 46cc 49cc 54cc on that case.
Does it look like these? or is it the earlier ones sold as 3.0 but is really a 3.4?

I did replace the fuel line, but haven't tore into it anymore than that.
Thanks for the help.
