For the rotary cutter, I am thinking 4 or 5 foot. I plan to use it mostly in the woods to keep it clean so I don't want to go too big. The area I plan to keep clear is probably 2-3 acres.

After a few months of research and watching for deals I took delivery of a used CK3510SE HST today and I would like to know if there is anything I should check over or maintenance that I should do to it before I start to use it. The tractor is 1 year old and has 11.5 hours on it.

Now its time to buy implements. If anyone has suggestions on a grapple (and 3rd function kit) and rotary cutter please let me know.

I have really enjoyed reading on this forum the last few months and appreciate people's willingness to help.

I received quotes from pretty much any dealer that I could find with in a 4 or 5 hour drive. I was going to buy from west end. I bought my 3rd function kit from West end and installed it myself because I did not want to pay to have my tractor picked up and delivered back to me.


I pretty much lucked into the tractor I bought. I found it on Craigslist made a good deal and the guy I bought it from even delivered it to my house.

I have a copy of the original bill of sale and I also talked to the dealer that he bought it from who also transferred the warranty for me.
