drug in an ugly 3910 today,,you talk about one needing some love, pulled it off at sellers place and it actually runs and operates pretty good,,spent all evening pressure washing years of grime and grease off of it,,,man I got it from sez it got to where the starter wouldnt work,,power steering quit, wouldnt charge,,needs a seat, front grill, several other items,,when i finally got it where u could actually see some of this stuff it looks like the wiire to the starter is loose,,the fan belts so loose i doublt the altrrnator is turning,,took the filler cap off the power steering pump and I can see fluid circulating, looks like its gonna be a good challenge but I figured for a 1000 bucks id be worth a chance, the only thing that really concerns me is the power steering, but we'll see

If need be, you could part it out and likely triple your money.

It actually runs pretty good,,im gonna see if I can get it cranking off the starter, it was was just to grimey to start working on before i gave it a bath

For $1000 you could make your money double itself in just parting it out.

Parting out a vehicle is a lot of work and time consuming. I’d never attempt a tractor.

A tractor is easier to dismantle, sitting in the parts while selling might take longer but ebay is your friend and hits a large market.

cleaned up pretty good,,I think the starter is bad,,couldnt get it to do anything,,tried crossing it out at the starter and still nothing, took the starter off and it does not turn very smooth,,think ill order a new one monday

Starter on my 555 quit this winter. Same as yours. Wouldn't do anything.

I bought a new one online. Paid around $125 shipped.

I was looking last night,,found one for 148.00 including the ship,,looks like they used the same starter on a number of different machines
