Was out driving the tractor and ran into the following situation.

Transmission was in C. When 2 wheel drive, it was fine. But when I shifted to 4 wheel drive and pushed the accelerated pedal, it early stalls out.

I only have4 hours on it, any thoughts? Thanks.

What other load is on the tractor when this happens?
Using FEL ?

Or on the road on the flat..??

What is the reason for shifting into "4wd" ?

Once ... Out in the farm field
Just trying out everything on the tractor.
No load, just pushing down on the pedal trying to see how fast I can get it

Another time on a local road. Again, trying to see the speed possible. Same issue.

I'd suspect nothing wrong with the 3033R, but would be suspicious of the operator. ;)

The forward pedal is not akin to the accelerator on a truck with automatic tranny.

When you press the forward pedal, you are effectively shifting into a higher gear.

Press the forward pedal just enough to keep the rpm of the engine at set point.

JMHO - I think more time spent reading the Operator Manual is in order here.

Don't worry about it. Keep putting hours on it and you'll figured out how to best use it.

As described above, with HST you are changing the ratio when you depress the forward pedal. Unless the engine is running wide open you'll notice a power loss when fully depressed.

What was the surface that you were making this test on? Dirt? Gravel? Asphalt?
You should never use 4 X 4 on a hard surface. The front wheels need to be able to slip.
