MF50 Hydraulic oil loss

I have lost most of the hydraulic oil out of what appears to me to be a weep hole in the bottom of the transmission gear box. Any help solving this would greatly appreciated. I'm brand new to the world of tractors. I've replaced the hydraulic pump and and replaced the seals in the top of the injector pump so far. I was using a blade on a dirt road when it started leaking.

It sounds like the gearbox input shaft seal has failed.
You will have to break the tractor in 1/2 to fix it.
What gearbox do you have, 3 or 4 speed or multipower?
If you split the tractor, and you have the 3 or 4 speed then when you put the tractor back togather, engage the pto and rotate by hand to help the gearbox input shaft line up with the clutch. This trick does not work with the multipower gear box.

Thank you for the info. It is a multipower. I guess it's not too much of a surprise, it sat in a field for many years. I got for free.

You will need patience when putting the tractor back togather as multipowers have a reputation be being frustrating. I know from experiance.

Does your tractor use the diff oil for hydraulics or do you have an external oil resievor tank?
