My 2615 HST is having problems with sticking brakes and diff lock pedal. The hydro stat works fine. If you press the brake pedal, it will not release the brakes. I have to beat the linkage with a hammer to release. The diff lock pedal is the same way. I have to stand on the pedal to engage and have to pull the pedal up by hand which is difficult. The 3 pt hitch lever is a little stiff but works fine. I have 450 hrs on it and changed the hydraulic fluid every 200 hrs. The only thing in common is the transmission. I知 wondering if this is a transmission issue. No FEL.

Have you been spraying or lubing the linkages as regular maintenance. I use pb blaster, wd 40 stuff like that. Hope that’s the problem. Good luck

Yes, lubing the linkages is the problem. Some are quite difficult to see, and access. Thanks to a video I recently discovered WD-40 in a new can with a long flex nozzle. Get a strong flash light, and a can of the right stuff, and all should be well. But, beating on linkage will soon not end well.

I may be misinformed, but according to the operator's manual you may not be using the proper technique for using the diff lock. Check and see.

I have the same tractor, and here is my approach: with wheels straight, press pedal and hold only until rears engage, then immediately release. I've never had a problem doing it this way. Thankfully in my 14 years of use I've not been in too many situations where I've needed it. Perhaps four or five.

After using a can of PB Blaster and a can of WD40 Rust Release the linkages are moving much better(after moving them by hand 50 times)The diff lock linkage goes through the gear box to the other side. Once I found that, it moves much better too!! I appreciate all the comments and suggestions!!!

Good news. Thanks for reporting back. The WD-40 with the long nozzle is the best thing ever for lubing the seat tracks.
