New poster / jinma front wheel seals

First, im new to posting but not new....i have learned a lot from this forum in the last 3 years. We have "quirky" little tractors....i wouldnt recommend anyone not willing and able to put in the "elbow grease" purchase one. Ireallyhave had minimal problems.....but if i had to pay someone else for every one i would be broke or have a yard ornament

That said, i love my little workhorse.

I would have never signed up for the forum except for a failed front axle and seal this week. Circle G took care of the axle but i forgot the seal. I needed something local...ASAP....4-5 HOURS OF RESEARCH i found a domestic part number (National 225040) available at almost any car parts store. Figured it would last a couple weeks until i could get the 2 seals specified....you all know there are 2, one inward for keeping oil in and one outward to keep out water/debris.

Pleasant surprise....225040 is a true "double seal" matches the original inner dimentions 50x72x12 so effectively replaces both chinese seals at a single price and is readily available.

Hope this helps someone here.....even though i have never joined and posted, you guys have unknowingly helped me a lot.....time to give back.

So what other front differential problems you guys had besides the common hub/stub axle breakage?

Driveshaft down to front axle and their low budget version of a CV joint. Overloaded they sometimes pop the balls out...
