he doesnt need a tractor he just thinks it and the grounds plowed, the grass is manicured, the crops are grown and harvested he just laughs watching us fuss about what we invented and how he would have done it so much better

Im in the market, tractors are expensive, Im getting ready to spend ( in my opinion still ) ALOT of money on a Kubota, Im considering the Kubota cause I have one already and its been a great tractor but Ive never owned any other brand.

I also like orange VERY much.

I also like old Mopars and old Fords but wouldnt consider a Chevrolet unless I was getting a screaming deal......why?.....I dont know, its just because.

So is there a way to leave out all the emotions and decide on what the best tractor is for the money?

Im talking major brands that are most likely gonna still be here in 10-20 years.....A kioti for instance might not make the cut for this discussion since they may not be quite tried and true....no offense to Kioti guys

Id just like to make the wisest decision.

Im looking for a no frills tractor, I have 5 acres, Im working on developing the land for a future residential home and this includes moving dirt/materials, whatever stump removal I can accomplish ect ect

Depends if you want the lowest purchase price. The lowest cost combined over the next ten years . Or total cost including depreciation.

These are terms with no standard, common, shared definition or criteria.

Steppenwolfe is right, it's like arguing about religion or the existence of God, without defining what God is. We don't have a common definition, so we just talk in circles using gobbledygook words.

A good used SAME from the 80's...mine has been a beast for me and other than the weak loader someone put on it it has been great. Not only was is less than 8k, its Orange as well so from a distance you can just tell everyone you have a Kubota...

About 6 months after I bought my first Kubota I was in the dealership and asked my salesman just kidding 滴ey, if Kubota is so good why do they only give one year bumper to bumper warranty? He replied, go home and try to break it. That sold me, I won稚 even shop for another brand. There are comparison videos on most brands so look around. I wont own anything but a Kubota and Toyota.

I would have had him put in writing that he would cover the repairs, then brought it in broken and bent the very next morning.
You can take my word for it they are not unbeakable by any means.

You are right. Couple of months ago I was using my grapple on my MX when one of the quick attach levers was popped open by a branch. I never saw it while pushing a huge brush pile... Bent the &*%$ out of the stabilizer bar between the two loader arms at the quick attach when the grapple came half off. Thankfully my son is an ace at welding and such, and brought it back 100% and heftier. Anything can happen...

Sad part is no matter how good we are or how careful one is every now and the we get an oh sh— — moment. Glad to hear you got it fixed back up in short order.
