I'm waiting on my F2690 to come in from Kubota to Barlows (Supposed to arrive 5-28-2019) but didn't. Probably came in since then and they probably moved your machine ahead of mine so they could deliver yours first and I'm a whole 6 or 7 miles from his lot. :D:laughing:
Actually Marvin (Retired over 40 years service with the Army, great guy)will probably deliver yours and a local paid delivery guy will deliver mine. Tell Marvin Happy Birthday when you meet him.:D:D

I wish you luck with it. The current line of Kubota gas powered zeroturns don稚 impress me at all. The belts, belt drives and blade spindles are underdesigned and fail far too often. As a group they are highly disappointing, but the Orange paint sells a lot of them.

I have a F2690 at the moment. It only has 130 hours on it and nothing has broke yet. But, i must say that if i was to buy a mower today, it would be a Ferris hands down. I've started mowing for my farmer friend using his Ferris SI5100Z, mowing 8-9 hours/day without any aches or pains at the end of the day. This mower is not only a beast with it's Cat diesel, but rides like a Limo., where my F2690 rides like a dump truck.

It looks like a very fine pricey mower.

I started my mower search with Ferris, and found the one with a kawasaki was over 10k.

Is this a zero turn 2wd machine your talking about? I pondered getting a ZD1211 but I have areas that require a 4wd. The F 4wd and Zd 2wd are different class/purpose machines.

My F2690 is 4x4. The Ferris is a ZT and i been getting stuck here and there with all the rain we had, where i likely could plow right on through with my F2690. I can cut twice the speed with the Ferris in absolute comfort with their fantastic suspension.

I see you like trying before buying/recommending so have you tried the Kubota ZD1211/1511 for any hours of mowing to compare it to the Ferris which you have used? The suspension seat on the Kubota ZD1211 (Also better on the Z724 I just bought than my F3080) is better than the ones on my Fs.
I had a F and a Kubota ZD326 boith at one time at my rental property and me and my hired mowers all preferred the ZD around the rental units for speed and ease but on the open field we all preferred the F for speed and ease and comfort but the Kubota ZD326 did not have the same comfort seat that the current Kubota ZD1211 has. Also the F stayed true to direction without constant correcting of steering wheel where ZD required constant arm action to stay straight on the semi rough open ground. This might have a different outcome with the ZD1211 vs the F now. Also it was flat land with no hills/banks.
PS Grandson, wife and I mowed yesterday with F3080 and Z724 and both mowed great. Wife has carpal tunnel in wrist and she used Z and didn't complain like she had with the Z121 and ZD326. We all like the Z724 for cutting and fun but there were several areas that I wouldn't try the Z because I know it would get stuck. I cut some 3' to 4' grass on the edge of the street that dropped down pretty steep and a ditch area that was F only mowing area. Also the F deck hangs over the side a bit more than the Z for mowing over areas where I wouldn't let the tires go on the Z and of course the under bushes areas that the F deck can go that an under me deck can't reach. I was pondering changing my order of the F2690 due on 5-28 that hasn't arrived to a on the lot ZD1211 but just to many not Z areas on my property to have Z only where F only could work but gladly I now have both, just not a diesel Z which I'd prefer.:)

I have not used the ZD1211/1511 and i never had a suspension seat on anything, but neither does the Ferris I'm using to cut 60 plus acres in 8 hours. (once per week) It has 1 shock at both front wheels and 2 shocks on each rear wheel, of which all are adjustable. I'm just super impressed with this machine. The Cat diesel is not available anymore but it is a absolute beast. I feel like using my F2690 just one time for that 8 Hour job, just to see how long it'll take me, but i know I'll be a mess at the end of the day. (degenerative disk disease)
