My old Sold BX2370 pulls my new Z724X out of the ditch

WoW! I bet your a wonderful service coordinator dealing with the public. Hope they all just ask you meekly to do whatever they need and charge whatever you want and have it ready whenever it pleases you without questioning you. You seem rather touchy to be asked your source since you say you don't even own a Kubota. I will ask Barlows if you know what your talking about when I pick up my 27th bought Kubota, probably next week.
Maybe there is one or two owners of these Kubotas on this forum that will respond saying how right you are by their own ownership experience.

I do not respond well to keyboard attacks. Nor do I really care what you think. I gave polite input until you lost your mind.

I'd trust a service coordinator who isn't afraid to speak the truth over one who spouts orange fairy dust.

Love your growing number of posts that never contribute any helpful information. just quips and smart remarks and you don't even own a Kubota. Troll the other brand forums but I'm sure you do and sure they appreciate your non informative replies.

I'm guessing RickB knows EXACTLY what he's talking about.

In my own position in HVAC, it is NOT my job to deal with the public, but I'd like to think I know what I'm talking about.

I have couple of Kubota's B2320 and T1670 while I like them both, Kubota would not be my first pick for a new mower for sure not one of their ZTR

I've had a Z724 or about 3 years and have had no issues whatsoever with it.

I wish you luck with it. The current line of Kubota gas powered zeroturns don’t impress me at all. The belts, belt drives and blade spindles are underdesigned and fail far too often. As a group they are highly disappointing, but the Orange paint sells a lot of them.
Now you tell me..

Now you tell me..

I talked to Steve Barlow the owner of Barlow Kubota Equipment sales yesterday and asked about the belt, spindle, etc issues with the 100, 400 and 700 Zs and told him a person claiming to be a maintenance scheduler for a Kubota dealer in NC said they were bad. He, Steve Barlow said they had not had any (Zero) issues on any he has sold. I know Steve Barlow and don't know the other person soooo I believe Steve Barlow (Kubota Dealer for many years and maybe the largest volume Kubota seller nationwide) vs someone I don't know. Also an owner of one for several years has chimed in and I know he has owned a few Kubotas himself for some years as have I and I also owned a Z121 which my niece now owns and it has had no issues and been used almost commercially on rental property for some years.
Not here to argue but to tell my experience and names of people with actual hands on ownership and sales experience.

Experiences vary. Not every machine fails. I’m not here to change anyone’s mind. I will reaffirm that I wish you good luck with yours and don’t much care what you think. The last Z724 we had in the shop had 4.8 hours on it and failed the hydro drive belt 10 days after it was delivered.

Every machine made by a manufacturer is a little different. My sister had a Cub Cadet that threw the deck belt off at least every other mowing but that doesn't mean every Cub Cadet will do that. My Ferris broke the deck belt every year (around 100 hours) till I quit getting replacements from the dealer and got a Kevlar belt from my local hardware store. It has been on now for 2 years and still going well (knock on wood). I dont know how other Ferris owners fair with their mower belts.
I am just saying that some machines from well established OEM's sometimes break for no reason other than maybe poor components. Most if not all of these components are from 3rd party vendors and could be bad batches. Some or all of these bad batches might go to a single dealer which could account for some dealers having major issues while others have none.
