great fun Check, are you headed there?
Rich, sorry you got punctured. I get cut up all the time, wonder about all the bacteria and germs out there. Exposing an open cut to the dirt
can kill you if untreated. Thank goodness for antibiotics. Glad you are feeling better.

Our common experience involves doing lots of things outdoors and we all face the outdoors differently.
One of my closest friends from up in PA comes down here dressed for safari, not one inch of skin not covered with something.
Maybe he read a lot of mosquito articles... I have arms and legs exposed so far that's where they've got me.
Perhaps wearing this soft collar a lot has helped as a bee guard also.

I am always reminded of the ending of Hill Street Blues, where the desk sergeant says to the officers in blue seated in front,
Now let's be careful out there.

landscaper coming this morning, going to get a big list of to do's done, some I have to help with, need to at least point where I want heavy
things moved to. Consolidating implements to get one more under the shed. Disc is going to have to stay out there, in the shade anyway.
He also gets up and blows off all the pine needles off the barn and shed roofs.

And then boxes will arrive from food pantry by large van and I will start the staging of materials for tomorrow's harvest. Weather is perfect

foot and arm still a little swollen and itchy, will try to ice a little while before I go out. With long pants on.
have a great day all.

Coffee is done brewing. 42° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 73° with partly sunny skies. Should continue with tree trimming. But everything is very wet. Something will show up.

50 year shingles. I have my doubts. But 25 years will be ok.

Congrats to the Raptors.

Roy, I am ok with no AC this year. My monthly thermostat reports says that our AC ran 10 hours in May of 2018. None yet this year. Furnace is running this morning.

Drew, you get some pictures of the harvest.

Randy, here's to a happy getting home party.

Thomas, good fox. 1 less ground rat.

Rich, hope infection goes away soon. Nice picture.

Jay, safe travels.

Don, no help on the sealing. But my neck already hurts from looking up.

Wngsprd, I have a fiberglass handled shovel. Like it a lot. But use one of my wood handled shovels because the wood feels better. Ames makes good yard tools.
I like all my air tools. They make life easier for nailing, stapling and other fastening projects.

Good Morning All.

67 degrees this morning, going for a sunny 90 today.

Ron, sorry to hear that. Hope you have a good roofing company to do the work.

Miss Bunny has done it again. I've mentioned her, in the past, Cottontail living under our patio. She's raised some young'uns twice in the past, and yesterday afternoon, another tiny little one came out for some sunshine. I don't know whether there's just one this time or if there'll be more.

My first shingles were either 25 or 30 yr, had to be replaced in 15 yrs.

Drove home from work last night in a strong storm.

Youngest said after a rain yesterday, it looked like smoke coming from the shed. He looked inside, didnt see anythng. So i went out after he told me, all looked normal. Dont know what it could have been.

The potatos and corn really got blown, but the weed block stayed in place.

Something causing real loud humming noise on back tire of the pilot. I replaced brake pads 2 or 3 months ago. Can't figure it out, but havent felt well enough to take the tire off to look. Noise stops if you step on brake. Going to see dad this weekend, was wanting to take pilot, but will take subaru instead.

Rick, hope you heal soon.

Toppop, welcome home!!

Drew, good luck wirh potato harvest.

57 and clear going to 77. So nice.

Wonderful day to go walking this morning...I saw deer and rabbits, but no fox bringing in breakfast like Thomas.

Ron, I need to check into those shingles...we are over 20 years into our current roof, and the shingles are looking worn out.

Don, I've used that Wet n Forget on parts of my roof and it took a long time, but the mildew/algae disappeared. (It didn't damage my shingles...they look the same as where I didn't spray it). BTW, I didn't find anything on what was used to coat my porch ceilings.

Finished the reno of my screened porch yesterday. Might still need to replace the screen door...the old one is a bit warped...added a turnbuckle to it, and it helped, but still not just right.

Good morning! 66˚F heading to the 90s. Sunny.

Great news on the weather for your harvest party Drew.
Welcome home Randy, take it easy. Arn't you supposed to get married this month?

Yesterday was delivery day. Got my wood floor attachment for wife's cordless dyson10 and I got my heavy duty tomato 5' tall square cages. To late to use them for the tomatoes this year so I'll use them for the cucumbers. The little 3' for cages on the tomatoes fell over and my tomatoes are all over the place. With the the garden eggplant and tomatoes we made eggplant lasagna, it turned out very good, the "cheese" was make with cashews and lemon juice and spices.

Rick thanks for the mildew spray suggestion. Sounds like a good first attack before sanding. This may turn out to be a all Summer event. First I need to get to Mom's to retrieve my scaffold. The ceiling is 13'X13' yes Ron my neck and arms are sore already also.

landscapers hard at work on little projects, I had to come in and sit. Legs cramping like mad, must be body chemicals out of balance.
Perhaps a week in the Outer Islands with no vegetables and all rum....hmmmm. :dance1:

Now to move equipment with powershuttle tractor and loader. Will try not to spear the help. This guy used to run heavy equipment,
I don't have to tell him anything, which is marvelous. Plus he's big and relatively young. All good.
This operation would be much easier with a hydrostatic trans, way less jerky. In order to be smooth, you really are back to using the clutch
again.

nice day out, even if I am itching
