Today one of my jobs was to move some equipment and trailers out of a row that has stumps to grind!!

Well why does one have to clean gutters in the first place, do they need to be waxed to................. I put gutters up on one side of my garage 6 years ago with a screen mesh wired down over them. I haven't washed them yet, 24'+ up from ground, take one heck of a FEL to reach it and a strong pair of arms to get a ladder in position. Then the ladder needs a special 2' bracket attached to it so's to hold it out so it wont crush the aluminum gutter, wehhhhhh I'm wore out just thinking about cleaning gutters.

So, you feel that if "you" can do it, then everyone should be able to do it too???

First of all, I'm older than you, secondly, I blew my back out when I was in my 40's......third, moving equipment for us, means steering the tractor as it idles along... Not too big a deal, I would say...

Come tell my wife it's ------> "safer" to use a ladder and bend over the eves to clean the gutters! lol

aaaawwwwww, I'll stand on the sidelines with some popcorn,

while I watch her bounce you down the driveway to the road with her shoe, stuck in your azz...

Yep, A ton of variables out there.. physical and mental shape of person doing the work, height of building, roof pitch, flatness of ground around building and accessibility, I'd have to drive through my pool to do it your way. I've always thought one of those attachments that go on a pressure washer would work well, but I've also done enough pressure washing to know that the operator would be wearing most everything that was in those gutters. So everyone needs to do whats comfortable for THEM.

I was a painting contractor for years and I have ladders up to 40 feet, every year those ladders get heavier and heavier, that 40 footer hasn't moved for a while now.... Cant sell it cause you just never know..

I was a painting contractor for years and I have ladders up to 40 feet, every year those ladders get heavier and heavier, that 40 footer hasn't moved for a while now.... Cant sell it cause you just never know..

My aluminum ladder is now 26' after getting 2' burnt off, so it was barely long enough to wire down those gutter screens. I put them up when I had staging set up, then the first 6" snow storm in late November flipped over most of the screens when the snow was sliding off the metal roof, didn't see that coming, so 6 years ago I wired the screens down and that's last time I had my ladder at full extension, and I dont care for the bouncing affect either.
