Kubota Delivery Mishap

Ran across this video on YouTube. Not sure how I would feel if it happened to a tractor I was getting delivered.

It was a stupid mistake but besides the deck nothing was damaged. They apparently gave him a new deck ( I skipped through the video) so what more could you want?

Actually do feel bad for the driver. Must feel like a real peterhead.

Why? What would make you think that the machine is hurt in any way? Assuming that they do pull that one back to inventory and replace the deck, it is going back on the lot as a new unit for sale anyways, and you could be the new buyer.

I saw that video, there was really nothing that bad that happened. It's a tractor, it does tractor things. I wouldn't be much worried about the tractor seeing that the deck caught it.

Agreed, not that bad, but seeing the way it landed on the backhoe frame, and dragging it around on the frame to get it off, i would want a different one.

The way that tractor was sliding on the deck each time he tried to slow or stop it, plus how he was unloading with the ramps pointed downhill...You could see bad news coming there.

I never liked ramped trailers. Tilt deck for me. I’m actually looking at getting a rollback trailer.

Makes me wonder if or what the driver will do different next time.
Also makes me wonder who's insurance will be flipping the bill.???

Cant believe they dont use a lowdeck 102" wide trailer for those short wheelbase machines. That would not have happened with my PJ SuperWide with the extra-long ramps.

"delivery family"....good one. Maybe it would have went better if one of the "family" members had looked over the situation before the unloading started.

The left rear tire was never on the ramp, the loader/forks and BH were way up in the air.....lucky no one got hurt and it didn't flip all the way over. I would have to wonder what Messick's insurance agent would have to say about this video.

If you ever watched any of messick's YouTube videos, I think the delivery guy may have been Neil Messick. Kinda looks like him, but I'm not 100% sure its him.

Not familiar with the kind of trailers you guys have there. But is that such an hassle to slide the ramps inwards or outwards on those things? It's not the first time that I see people unloading stuff from the trailers where the tires is just maybe 2 or 3 inches over the ramps...

On this case, it almost ended really bad but looks like it could be avoided by just sliding the ramps in a bit more.

Me, too. I wold have wrote the serial number down for that tractor, and sent him back for another. No excuse for that. New tractor all the way.
