It was!!!

It was 2106 at the Pyrotechnics Guild International show . They held it in LaPorte, IN that year (2nd time!). It was 425 gallons of gasoline. We were 1/4 mile away and could feel the heat tremendously!!!

So they were supposed to have a big show that night, but the day before a lightning storm set off something like 7/8 of the fireworks in one big blast. They apologized to the crowd over and over again. But even with that, the 1/8 of the show that was left was still the greatest fireworks display I'd ever seen. I can't imagine what it would have looked like at full strength. They have several public shows throughout the week, and several demo shows for vendors to show off their unique shells, and full shows. And anyone can purchase anything, and they'll take you out in a secured area and set it off for you! Very entertaining.

It's coming to Gillette, WY in August 2019. Go see it if you're in the area.

Here's another video of the same thing, with some dramatic narration by the MC. Enjoy!

(turn up the sound for real fun)

And the taxes were basically on sugar in the form of molasses, that were used to make liquor. So that kinda should read an armed population refused to give up their guns and pay their taxes on liquor making ingredients. ;)

Home distilling!!!
