The name is Raymond Redd, and I'm a retired IT / healthcare business executive that has moved to the country. My wife and I now live in a truly beautiful area of west central Georgia between Macon and Atlanta. We managed to purchase 38 acres here last year. I'm not a farmer, and never will be, but I enjoy puttering around on the land and taking care of business. I purchased my LS XG3135 with FEL last year, and truly love using it. Maintaining our half mile gravel drive, brush hogging the pasture, dragging or hauling firewood, or just riding the grandkids around.

Hopefully this forum will be a good source for information and even just some fun.

You're a better man than I. We picked up about the same amount of land in our early 40's, both with full time jobs. Perhaps it's the jobs AND the kids, but we can't wait till the kids graduate and move out so we can finally downsize in both home size and property size!:laughing:
