Cool, does it still work ? My Dad collects and repairs old tube radios, I get to do cabinet repairs on them.
Never put a battery in to try it. All the tubes are there.

I never noticed this phenomenon until I began walking out of my shorts or pants or they would just fall down. The Wife pointed out this flat bottom problem and bought me several belts.
Something happened when I turned 60. I became Fred Mertz with pants. Wear them normally and a 38 waist is fine...pull them up an inch and it goes from a 38 to a 50! Then getting out of my recliner I walk like Grandpa McCoy for a while.
I recently graduated to Velcro tennis shoes because tying shoes squeezes my nuts.
Is this the normal aging process?!? use2.jpgWalter%20Brennan2.jpg

Not me, still wear the same size pants as in high school. 34x34. No less active, probably more active.

I cant find velcro tennis shoes that hold up. Heck even the lace up ones dont last.
Wife says Im overloading them.
Think I need the butt bags Hank Hill used. Tired of sitting on my tailbone.
Like my old cotton pocket Ts cant get use to the new synthetic wonder materials. And a shirt with no pocket is useless.

Speaking of senior attire, for my money nothing beats Bib Overalls.
No midriff binding, no suspenders required, and lots of useful pockets to stash your hearing aid batteries, pill box, a half pint of schnapps, a pocket knife, and a red bandana. An accepted uniform at the local grocery, Co Op, lumber yard and tavern. They work really well for guys like me with too much gut and not enough butt. Bending, reaching, or tugging on a pipe wrench under the kitchen sink, no crack spackel required

Yea,all those things plus side openings are much better for pocket pool than holes in front pockets.

I don't really have a problem with sneakers not standing up as long as you get ones of decent quality to begin with. Dunno what the deal is though with the laces that come with them...they NEVER stay tied, even if double-knotted. Buy replacement ones and they stay tied just fine. It's a conspiracy, I tell ya.

I never use shirt pockets. Every time you lean over whatever was in them falls out.
Agree on cotton vs synthetics.

I did pretty well until I hit my late 50s/early 60s. About that time for whatever reason pants started running small.

Grimm had "The Frog Prince" all backwards. My wife says I look like a frog and she's right. Gravity takes it's toll on everything except the butt that apparently migrates up to the belly.depositphotos_174308454-stock-illustration-funny-cartoon-old-man-character.jpg
