New Tractor came with 13.6x28R1 instead of 14.9x26R1 like online website shows. Why?

Dealer couldn't tell me either. The MX5200's on his lot had the 14.9x26's...mine came with 13.6x28. I don't understand why there would be two completely different sizes of ag tires. Dealer couldn't say why.

And he was too busy to check the order against the invoice or pick up the phone and ask Kubota? It really is not hard to get a question like that answered. I’d rather have the 28s anyway. 26 inch R1 tires are a bastard size.

I asked a different dealer than I bought it from. He did check on his computer and see where both sizes were listed, but he had no idea why or what came with what.

Yep. Sounds like they install whichever they have a train carload of at the time.

Those two sizes are almost identical in height and the static loaded radius for both is 24".

The width is noticeably different.

I wonder if the tires and wheels are made in the United States and don't ship with the tractor.

The only tire spec that matters when choosing between two tires is matching the loaded rolling circumference of the tires Front to Rear to the internal gear ratio F to R.
And that only matters if it is 4wd.
Having tires the same in height and static loader radius is a strong indication that the specs are going in the right direction, but not conclusive.
Regardless, any dealer should be able to answer all your questions on this..... but few I've encountered take the trouble. His shop foreman will probably know.
