Because i tilted my tractor i had opportunity to make photo's from the bottom view.

Now looking at the photo's i see something strange. Well, i think it looks strange.

This is the axis/shaft (no clue what it is called) for the front wheel drive. It seems not ok. Can anybody confirm? Any photo on what it should look like?

It looks like the front axel has moved forward and caused a disconnect in the drive line. I wonder - did it go back together when the tractor was righted? I'd sure want to crawl under and check before using the tractor. Particularly in 4WD.

It would appear that's a bearing that keeps the shield centered with the shaft spinning inside it? If so, it has slipped on the shaft and separated from the shield?

Can you confirm this assumption by spinning the bearing by hand? Or look at a parts diagram to confirm this?

The bearing may have failed causing it to break loose from the shield?

It's just a plastic bushing that popped of the tube. Nothing serious or critical. It just supports the tube that covers the shaft for the front diff.

I used to have a Kubota B7000 with a homemade loader that was the exactly same thing as yours. And by the way, the tiller doesn't make enough counterweight on these tractors with loader. You need much more. You may want to get some wheel weights.

It might have been like this for a long time. Just put it back in, and put a hose-clamp on the shaft, so the bushing stays in place. I may need a little play though as the front axle moves back or forth.

Ok everybody thanks for the info. I will check under the tractor later this afternoon, and if possible put this hose-clamp.

This wheel-weights is a new one for me. And interesting. Sounds like something one has to fabricate himself? Or are there commercial products around for these small tractors?

It's easy to make. If you manage to source some thick steel plates, drill a couple of holes and you're good to go. The tractor's rim are already drilled for these weights.

There are commercial products but I'm not sure where to get those.

Ok, solid steel sounds simple enough. Also easy to weld some additional weight to it, once it fits.

Anybody has any suggestions on how much weight would be appropriate for a 600 kg tractor?

I use up to 500# on my BX25 of suitcase weights; 50# each. That way I can vary the weight to match the requirement. Here in the US they are +/- $1/#. I hang them on a bracket on my Quick Hitch or a frame attached to the tractor frame.

It is a bushing that you need to press back in the metal sleeve. I recently had mine apart as the driveshaft was bent and needed to be straightened. It is real easy to press the bushing in by hand.
