recently purchased 2010 MF1532. Having issues with Dif lock and four wheel drive. I can't engauge the dif lock and four wheel drive works great in low gear but the tractor stalls when in high and four wheel drive. anyone have any ideas?
If it's anything like my gc1710 the diff lock doesn't engage until the wheels start slipping. I step on the diff lock pedal and keep gentle pressure there and once my traction gives way in it goes like butter.recently purchased 2010 MF1532. Having issues with Dif lock and four wheel drive. This is excellent information.gc1710 is correct. The diff lock will only engage once the rear wheels start to slip. It will automatically disengage once the load is relieved. When I'm in a tough spot I engage the diff as needed. As for the stalling, I would check your fuel filter. I've had my filter clog up pretty quick mostly because my fuel transfer tank had some junk in it. regardless I've experienced loss of power. The fuel filter is easy to swap and is readily available just about any auto parts dealer. Here are some part numbers for you; WIX 33262, Purolator F60053, & NAPA 3262. Good luck.
