JD MX10 shredder lift cylindeer seal kit

Howdy!

I'm looking for a seal kit for the lift cylinder for my (2003-4?) JD MX10 cutter hydraulic cylinder. The part number on the cylinder is AW30748. I can't find any site that offers a seal kit for this. Several sites state that a new part number replaces that but that sounds like a different cylinder and the seal kits might not be compatible. Should I just take it to a hydraulic shop and hope they can find similar seals? Hate to have to buy a new cylinder. Trying to knock down crap so my pastures can take advantage of all the rain we've had here in central Texas...

JD has seal kit if hyd repair shop doesn't. 1 ea-AHC16970 Hydraulic Cylinder Kit -ADD 64.25 USD & 1 ea-AHC16982 Hydraulic Cylinder rod Kit - ADD 27.14 USD. United Ag & Turf lists several locations in Central Tx with repair kits in stock including Bryan,Cameron & Temple.

Just an update...I went to the JD dealer and asked for a seal kit for my model, the number matched the one TX Jim found. I got it back and only one of seals matched. Luckily it was the one that had failed but for $65 I got 8 seals I couldn't use. So if you're looking for a seal kit for a 2003-2004 MX10 lift cylinder I recommend going to a good hydraulic shop and don't waste your money on a John Deere seal kit.

I got it all working but instead of changing all the seals I only changed one and I'll have to redo the job when the other seals fail. I'm still steamed.

I would have installed all the new seals, unless some were for different variants of that cylinder.

AW32039 is the correct seal kit I had the same issue when ordering mine

Getting the wrong seal kit is becoming more common as equipment manufacturers change suppliers that make cylinders.
Hyd shops usually don’t carry prepackaged seal kits but make them up from bulk stock.
