When a fight is one guy vs a group, the group always waits in turn so keep the fight one on one.

Shoulder wounds are always superficial.

A 100 pound woman can easily knock out a 200 lb. man.

(I have successfully kicked in a door)

Yumm, speaking of broccoli, reminds me of the soup my father made. Broc from the garden, chicken broth and noodles, oh and a lot of pepper. Didn't taste much like pepper, as it was really aphids... We still ate it.

I had a lot of broccoli one year and earlier in the year I had told the neighbor they could help themselves. I had been using them up but had left the ones loaded with aphid in the garden. One day I noticed they were gone and the next day the neighbor thanked me for them. I asked if he had his glasses checked lately

Is a 20 foot chain any less dangerous than a 20 foot cable? Of course a 200 cable is deadly.

Chains tend to recoil straight back so they are less dangerous but they still recoil with a lot of energy

I heard rope is the worse on recoil breakage.

I'm sure that makes them less dangerous.

Plus, because they would normally weigh less than a cable of similar strength, more energy is absorbed moving the additional mass before it hits something.
(Although writing that makes me wonder - where does that energy go?Not light, maybe some heat? A little noise?)

I am sure it would keep the chain warm on a frosty evening!
:D

In high school my buddy got stuck out in a mudhole. I went to pull him out and the chain broke, whipped around and put a nice set of chain prints into the driver rear bed panel at a 45*angle.

Does the blanket trick work as well as some claim it does?

Maybe if you zipped a coat around it it would help. Maybe an 8’ long blanket would help. Using floor mats, shingles, loose jackets and stuff of that sort tends to fall off.
