If you want “extended” kill use a glyphosate with imazapyr. Glyphosate is a systemic, non-selective herbicide that has no soil activity. It’s neutralized by soil microbes. Imazapyr is also a non-selective herbicide but, it does have soil activity. I use RM43.

Always follow the label. The label is the law.

That's tractor gold, Farmer. THANKS!

Seems crazy, but now I've been watching M62 videos and wondering if it would be strong enough to dig the foundation for my barn. The uphill sides of the cut into the hillside would be something like 14' high. Quotes I've gotten for the excavation are crazy high, and if I can put the cost of excavation toward the bigger machine I'd come out ahead of the game...

More tractor board gold. Just printed it out "Landscape" mode for the barn.

RNG, without knowing your type of dirt, it would be hard to say. It takes big equipment with enough mass and Hp to dig in undisturbed soil, much more if it has rock in it. But, maybe with enough patience and time, you could get it done. I say get a toothbar bucket and the backhoe if you go that route. But backhoes might be a bit clumsy for FEL use on hills. OTOH, look at temporarily purchasing a used big machine. Buy it, use it, sell it. Then get your new tractor.

Sodamo, hope you find it instead of running over it. At least you have a flail.

So I have this old Impala that was my commuter car for years. I have been through the engine about 50-60,000 miles ago, and it still purrs like new. Hate to get rid of it because my daughter will be old enough to drive next year. Anyway, the AC had quit cooling. The high side was high (needed an orifice tube). I finally went and got one and put it in today. Of course the darn thing was near the firewall behind the brake booster, so my arms look like I've been in a fight with a tiger. Now we have AC again in a car we don't really use....but it feels nice. I told my wife as long as she stays on our paths, she can use it like the gator when it's dry. Just don't stop on deep grass. AC, heat, radio, windows to keep out the spiders and grasshoppers. Hard to beat. :)

That was today's fix.

Had 1 beer to cool down. It is Saturday night.

Prayers for BEF, Randy, and Bupps spot.

Good evening all. 69F for the start, (sprinkler was running this morning). Clear sky and calm wind finish the weather ob. South wind became moderate, sky became partly cloudy, and high temp was 93F. Bike ride with the group, although last 10 miles was solo. Nap then back to town to help tear down quilt show, only took 1 hour to undo what it took 2.5 hours to do, not counting the 2 hour learning session, complete with 2 collapses :ashamed::confused2:
Thanks for the compliments on the cart, around here it's plain jane:D
RNG did that on an old s-10 bought used, bought front pads and ended up having to buy drums and pads for rear, rivet was cut a deep groove.
Buckeye, prayers for continued recovery and that you can get home soon and continue PT/OT there.
Buppies prayers for your biopsy.
Ted abd Jay prayers for your knees.
Farmer prayers for your family.
Prayers for all.

Good evening to all! Right now 62 degrees after a brief shower. Going down to 56.

The son had an old friend help him unload the truck yesterday. I started to help, but the ramp was having an argument with Mr knee. Pretty much incapacitated me after just an hour. They finished up unloading, closed the back door, and it started storming / pouring down! Rained for the next 2 hours for a grand total of just over an inch and a tenth. We really needed it. By mid morning today, you couldn't tell it even rained yesterday.

Now he just has to get everything unboxed, find a place, and get settled in. A task that I don't envy.

Mostly, nice cart.... Are you going to bling it out at all? There is a cart shop in Albuquerque that sells all the blingy chrome stuff, wheels, seats, etc... Some of the prices....WOW!

BEF, hope you get back on the track of recovery. Prayers sent.

I haven't been following too much.... I have been way too busy.... I hope everyone is doing ok and having a good weekend so far!

Good morning all. Our heatwave is over, a wet and slightly chilly, yet blissful, 13C/55F to start the day.

Being retired our time is our time. Of course wife tends to disagree from time to time when she壇 like a shorter time frame.

I know that feeling too. My wife is very tolerant of the slow pace I finally get around to doing the things I have promised, but sometimes patience runs out by not knowing which year that will be. The landscaping of one corner of our front yard has been on the list for :ashamed: - 9 years !

The other day I noticed that out of all the grease points on my loader, one pair on either side do not appear to be taking grease properly. Nothing seems to make it through to the other side of the bushing. The force needed to push grease into the nipple (zerk) is minimal, with grease fanning out on that side.

Pin to shoulder.jpg

Bushing.jpg Bushing wiped clean

The distance from the centre of the first hole in the pin to the shoulder is 19 mm. In that space goes an 8.5mm plate for the linkage, a 5mm thick parking leg and a 4mm washer. In addition, there is 4mm of side-to-side play too, so it looks to me as though most of the 5mm diameter lube hole is not in the bushing when I try to squeeze in grease :confused3:

We have had friends staying with us, so I have only taken out the pin from one side but when I do the other today, I expect it to be just the same. Any thoughts would be welcome.

In the meantime a good poke of grease with my finger has me good for the next 10 hours of use. :)

Your #2 picture seems to show a second hole just above the Mitutoyo on caliper. Does it get grease?
