I know nothing about implements, Im not 100% positive a box blade is what Im after but Ive spent enough time on you tube looking at what I can learn to remember seeing a video about box blades.
Im gonna post some pics but once again right now Im in a rush to get to work so it will have to wait.
I rented a large excavator this weekend ( kinda large, 19000 pound ) to pull my stumps on my 5 acres. It was an unbelievable experience that I will not forget. Never ran that type of equipment, it yanked them out like twigs being picked up. Pulled between 2-3 hundred in a hard long day.
After maybe an hour it was as if the controls were extensions of my hands.
Now Ive got huge ruts and uneven land/soil.
Excavator had a scraper on the front and I did the best I could to level things out but W.B too short and now Ive got a huge mess.
Is a boxblade what Im after, can it be rented typically? I am running out of storage room in my shipping container I have on site, Id imagine a half day is all Id need, Im not trying to get things perfect, only level enough that I can drive thru it. My L2501 has already gotten stuck on me once trying to drive thru the mess.
Maybe Im thinking something that I can attach to the 2 inch ball on my 4WD Ranger? It wont get stuck most likely.
Maybe I just need to get a heavy piece of lumber and attach a chain to each end running back to my ball in the center?
Just thinking out loud and looking for advice.
I know nothing about grading but Im assuming I will have to have that done eventually but not now.
Thanks for any feedback
