New grill guard project on RK55HC

My brother put guards on my 5740 and 8540; used angle iron and expanded metal to cover a bit more. ovrszd made a real nice one for his M9540.

I started with the front panel like Bill's. Then brush poked around the sides. So I added "wings" on the sides. The brush poked up under the bottom. So I added an enclosed bottom. Finally had a guard then. It's an evolutionary thing.

The image of your grill guard growing into a cage wrapped around your tractor led me to thinking of the globe of death. You know, the cage spheres with stunt drivers riding motorcycles inside.

I you don't like the PVC you could 1/2" fuel or vacuum line. Sprayer hose, etc.

I tried a smaller hose but it was a pain to cut with scissors. So I gave up. Quitter! Lol
