When I bought my 1967 model 3000 it only had one original headlight and a work light mounted for the other. Neither worked. I found replica replacements and had added those but in trying to trace the wiring and the switch connections makes me ask what lights would a Basildon, England tractor have come with?
The switch is a multi position rotary type. There are 2 wires running to the front. I figured it might have been for high and low beam. The light I bought are single element so I plan to add an additional LED light bar on the bumper.
One wire goes to the dash lights that I need to replace.
One wire runs to the rear fenders where fender lights would have been. I going to mount some dual faced red / Amber with dual elements on each fender. I plan to add a flasher relay for the brake/ turn and have separate running light.
I also will be adding a LED work light or maybe a light bar facing rearward.
That still leaves me asking the question of what lights were originally installed and how were they wired. Can anyone help ? Maybe some photos of fender light set up?
