Anyone regret filling your tires?

You guys that don’t like checking air pressure in Fluid Filled Tires needs to invest in a spring loaded tire pressure gauge from Napa made to push the fluid out the gauge when taken loose from the valve stem.

Mtnviewranch makes a good point. You don稚 truly notice just how much of an improvement it is until operating your tractor without filled tires, and THEN with them.
Like others said, you don稚 渡eed to and it痴 not like your tractor is unsafe without it, it痴 just that it makes it considerably more capable, and stable, with filled tires. That痴 not an opinion, it痴 physics and principles of stability.

I had mine for a year before filling the rears, after adding rimguard I literally felt like I just went up a frame size, it helps that much!

I have a Tractor similar to Mikester with a L3560 Cab and a BH 92 Backhoe on it as well. With the 805 Loader on it the rear end of the tractor got way to light without anything weighting it down and i almost did an endo with it when i first got it, so i had the rears filled with fluid and it made all the difference. I did not always want an implement or the backhoe on my tractor so filling the rears seemed like a good thing to do as i considered it unsafe not to weight it down as the lifting capacity exceeds the rear weight of the tractor when lifting something to the Max weight capacity of the loader.

The Kubota manual specifies always having 3pt ballast on when using the loader, regardless of loaded tires or not. 3pt ballast unloads the expensive, complex & expensive front axle onto the strong & simple rear axle. Loaded tires decrease the likelihood of the rear end comming off the ground, but increases the potential load on the front axle when lifting.

A tractor is like a big teter toter in many respects. You want the fat kid on the back, not the front.

I took my ~500 lbs of wheel weights off to have tractor service done. Today is the first time I had to go down (and hence: up) my hill.

I deeply regret not having reinstalled my wheel weights yet. :(

I had my dealer add 1-1/2 gallons (rear) and 3/4 gallon (front) of ultraseal because my property is full of mesquites, honey locusts, and bois d’arcs. It has saved several flats even in the first 4 months.

Can I add RV antifreeze (or beet juice) in this situation? How will it affect ultraseal performance? I would love to have more stability - I have been at 20 degree angles and getting uncomfortable - but I can’t live with giant thorns without an effective sealant.

Did it get a little puckery there?

I'd doubt it. At least if you dont want the ballast diluting the sealant & rendering it ineffective.
