You could be right but if you take a look at their loader construction you will see IMO that are of a cheaper quality and some of the Boomer standard equipt. such as mid 2000 rpm PTO which is standard is an option on the LS.

Thanks Dave1953. I didn't catch the mid pto being included! That just saved me some grief.

I stopped in at the dealer today to see if they could tell me anything about the status of my Boomer 55 on order. The salesman had already told me they would not know anything until it rolled into the yard on the truck but I never believed him. Well, he was busy so a young lady asked me if she could help me and I told her the reason I was there. She said "sure, I can find out something" so she tapped around on the computer and said the factory was in the process of building it, that the backhoe had been built, that the radio and brush guard were already at the dealer waiting for the tractor. We agreed that it would probably take about 3 weeks in shipping once it left the factory until it was delivered taking into account it has to cross the Pacific, go thru the Panama canal then travel up to the port of Baltimore, off loaded and trucked to NC. I hope they ain't having any riots in Baltimore when it gets there! She said it would probably be here sometime in OCT. so maybe I will live long enough to see it. They had agreed to furnish a thumb with the price quoted but I asked her about it and she looked it up and said it was a manual thumb which I don't want. I forgot to ask about dual remotes and she looked it up and said it was ordered with single and that she would try to change the order and get them to put it on at the factory. I forgot about so many little trivial things after we hammered out a deal. This is the last new tractor I will ever buy so I want it right and get everything on it I possibly can. Just thought you may enjoy the update.

Congratulations on actually getting an update from the dealership, it's amazing what can be accomplished when someone is actually willing to take the time to help you out. I would've felt inclined to find the salesperson that sold you the tractor and asked them again for an update, and if the response I received was the same as the last time I asked, I would have pointed out his inadequacies...

This lady I dealt with was much more computer savvy than the salesman plus she genuinely cared. When I was mentioning some options I wanted on it one he said and I quote " you don't want that". They make more money on options and I thought what kind of salesman is this that discourages customers from ordering more options not to mention that he did not even know that they made a Boomer with a CVT until I advised him of it. I'm afraid I got the least knowledgeable sales person there. I am gonna follow up with the female who took care of me Friday and see if she was able to add dual remotes to the factory order. I have looked at all the pics of the 935 BH on line that I can find and the only thumb any of them have on them is a mechanical one so I don't know if you can even get a dealer installed hydraulic thumb on this BH. Oct. is getting closer and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I have my TC34DA with loader & BH advertised on CL and tractor.com & one other place I had to pay for but I haven't even had one inquiry. I was hoping it would sell before this one came in but if it don't I will just have to shell out more cash.

Well, my Boomer 55 left Busan, Korea Sunday evening at 7:19 PM local time enroute to Baltimore. It is on the Gjertrud Maersk currently passing between the 2 main islands of Japan at 20.8 knots on a heading of 56 degrees and draughting 12.5 meters. Estimated time to to Baltimore is 3 1/2 weeks so it should be at the dealer in about a month. That info DIDN'T come from the dealer. The salesman just says he " don't know" when asked when it will be there. This info is available to him if he wanted to take 5 minutes to look it up. Anybody can follow it constantly if they wished to do so. It just shows you how lazy some NH dealers can be. I tried to explain to him that I have the money to pay for it but I have to "order" it and it can take 7 to 10 days to get it and I want to have it ready just before the tractor is ready but it falls on deaf ears. You can bet when they get the loader and backhoe and all the other stuff on it and they want it out of their way and to get the rest of their money they will get real interested in it !
