I am removing the fuel injection pump on my 1995 3930 and when I removed the plastic blow back hose it was filled with 1/2-3/4 gallon of fuel.
I don't understand this? Does it mean my injectors are bad? I was told my pump was bad because I am not getting fuel to the injector lines.
What is the purpose of this blow back line?

Not sure what u mean.. theres no such thing as a "blow-back hose"..
The correct terminology will help determine what you mean..
Do u mean the injector return line.?? The pipe connected to the top of the injector that links all of them together.??

OP, the return line goes back to the fuel tank and yes it should have fuel in it. If you're injectors aren't getting fuel the control rack inside the pump could be stuck.

If you unscrew the lines from the injectors and crank the engine you should get fuel coming from those lines.

In my experience, if the tank is filled to a point above where the return line attaches the the tank, the tank will drain itself via the return line when removed, until the fuel gets below the return line.

The return lines I have seen go into the very top of the tank a bit above the full fuel level..

Traditionally I have, too, but on my ‘94 5030, it’s down just enough to allow some drain back if the tank is full. I only know this because I swapped injectors with a tank full of fuel, on a brand new cement floor. It was a mess.
