1978 B7100 with B219 Loader + belly mower

Is this possible? Where would the mower get power from?

'78 is non-HST so no mid PTO if I have done my research correctly.

The loader uses front pump so I am guessing the clutch and belt can't run there.

I have heard it is possible to run the loader off the tractor pump - but I have some reservations that it would make the trans oil dirty - i sort of like keeping the oils separate. Is that unreasonable?

Did you look for a mid PTO...it can still have a mid PTO with a gear drive trans...

this says the mid PTO runs at 2800 RPM right for a mower..

I wouldn’t give much for a gear drive b7100 but I guess it has a mid pto. Also there’s nothing wrong with using the tractor pump for a loader. Most equipment does that.

You could have a Kubota with a rear V belt pulley on the PTO stub with guide pulleys under the axle running the long V belt to the center mounted pulley and using one or two V belts from the center mower blade arbor which was what the 1969-70 4 cylinder IH Cub lowboy we had used to drive the mower.

If you look at the column marked Power-Take-Off (PTO) it lists the RPMs for a front and rear PTO...the rear has three different speeds....the front PTO only has one speed 2800 RPM (when the engine is at "PTO" RPMs...) the rear PTO is driven through the transmission...

Got one arm in sling for torn rotator cuff so getting down there is a pain - just had a look and couldn稚 see anything besides driveshaft from clutch to trans and from trans to front diff

I have a 1978 B7100 gear drive without the loader and belly mower. The mower is driven by the front pto. Look under the front and you will see it.
