Called a precast place. Was surprised on two counts. One thses steps only cost $640 CDN + 13% tax, AND they weigh 1600 LBS! More than I figured.
So for 50 bucks in diesel and a days work, I guess it's all right. Not exactly the great win fall, I thought. If I had broken something or got an overweight fine, that would have been bad. I can only have 500 pounds in that trailer to be legal. I bet my gear and the railings weighed that.

My job today was to mow grass, and I "Grasshoppered" a lot of grass today...
I also, repowered my sawmill, so I had a pretty full day.

We run an event venue and have a room for couples to stay after getting married.
Alarm went off at 4:30 am for carbon monoxide. Had to run over and placate them/deal with FD and get things settled. Turns out our batteries for our fire suppression system are gassing off when charging and letting out a whole lot. Going to get some sealed batteries so this doesn't happen again. Volunteer guys don't need their weekends filled with 4 am calls that in my mind shouldn't be happening.

yesterday i worked from home. did my clicking away and then ran errands to pick up some 2-4-d, grass seed, fertilizer, dry cleaning, lumber for fixing blown over brand new swing set.
Worked "hard" . but back at the real job this morning and sunday.

Yep... those old Internationals were some of the best made. Spent many an hour on a 444 and an "A" we used for cultivating.

NOTHING... Been retired for 5 years. Just farm now. Work sucks, big time and my shop basically runs itself.
