Whenever a hurricane is bearing down on us, among other things, I load up on non-ethanol gas for the generator. I always have some gas left over, which is a good thing. But I finally got tired of wrestling with gas cans funneling all that extra gas into the gas tank on my pickup. Plus, I don't like to gas up my lawn tractor with a 5 gallon can, because it's so easy to spill onto the paint and cause problems. I bought an older version of the Terapump on Ebay, and so far I really like it. Works great on the lawn tractor, and I'm sure it will be great on the pickup as well. It was only about 25 bucks, and runs off two D cell batteries. I have read that a set of batteries is good for at least 100 gallons. Although they get poor reviews for heavy industrial use, they have a very good reputation with homeowners. It's a lot of bang for the buck, and will work great on my lawn tractor. Here's the link:
