Was having the Patio Cover installed today... NOT !
Truck arrived, they started laying out the support beams, asked for approval and I said yes, then I asked about the overhang.
I had asked for 12" all the way around, another NOT happening..., the short sides had the right amount but the front away from the house had 3"... NOT !
At first they said I sign the QUOTE... yes I did but we changed things and I had told you I wanted a 12 Overhang all the way around, he thought on it then told me he would reorder the top panels, no cost to me... thank you !
They dropped all of the pieces off, except the roof, and after talking about the whole project, they left with no cover in place.
I got the call about rescheduling, one week out, Sept 17, not too bad, could have been a month like the first install date, they had a cancelation, we have guests coming from New England in Oct., so I'm thinking it is a win/win !
At least I got a chance to talk to the their Electrican, he seems knowledgable, we talked about the supply lines, the connection points, how the switches were suppose to work and where the switches will go, actually win/win/win !
Waiting impatiently but at least it is happening.
Also got a couple of hours on the tractor with the BH... dug a trench 32' 24" deep, the ground around here is like cement for the first 15" or so... and the little Max28 doesn't weight in as a heavy weight !
Now for the cross trench for the Fireplace and the Potting Shed Electrics and water, more time in the Tractor Seat !
