If a price is not posted in an add, I usually find that the seller is embarrassed to post it, and is asking such a crazy high price, just hoping for that 1 sucker who just has to have that item, at any price. I don,t bother with adds that do not list asking price.

In addition they are going try to push it on you, just like any used car salesman.
When I was truck shopping a few years ago I emailed a dealership about the price of a used Tacoma they had listed. I never did get an answer, they most likely had already sold it. Yet 4 years later I still get phone calls and emails from the same dealership, although I have never answered one of them. If they can't answer a simple question, I don't want to do business with them.
