Looking for the cheapest, bestest, 10 inch dual bevel slider.
What y’all recommend?
Thanks.

I have a Ryobi that works okay for me but I don't use it but four or five times a year..

Cheapest and bestest may be contradictory. But I’d say get a Dewalt. It’s a nice saw and reasonable. If money were no object, I’d get a Festool.

I also have a little Hitachi 8”. It an old design, smatter with less crosscut capacity , but I like it better than its bigger cousins. Unless your cutting lots of wide stuff, save money and go smaller. 99% of what I cut in furniture or trim, is less than 8” and my Hitachi does great and is way smaller and compact.

If you want it to last for a good while, get a Dewalt. If you want it to last forever buy a Makita. If you're gonna throw it away after your project get a Ryobi.

I have a Makita 10” dual bevel slider and I really like it.

Bought a Ryobi for a project 20 years ago, it's still going after many projects and works well, I couldn't afford a better one at the time but I think any of the big names are good, after seeing what my Milwaukee 18v Fuel circular saw can do I would even consider a cordless for portability, I have seen them but can't recall who makes them.
A good blade makes a difference too, I use CMT but Freud and others are probably just as good albeit not cheap.

Whatcha using it for?

Mainly just DIY stuff.
Hobby woodworking.
Right now I’m in the middle of building a 22x33 pole shed to keep truck and tractor in.
I’ve got a delta 10 inch but it doesn’t slide.

I’m starting to acquire the dewalt 20v tools.
They make a 20v slider but it’s only 7 and quarter inch blade.
Don’t know how wide a 2x it will cut. Or how deep?

go up to a 12 inch slide. You'll be able to cut 4x4's with a 12. a 10 won't do it.
I have a cheap HF 10 slide I bought about 15 yrs ago. built a den in my old house. used it to build my cattle corral, and many other projects..
When it stops, I'm going to buy the HF 12 '' slide.. But this saw just keeps going. it won't die
