Ethanol Free Gas

Geez, $29 for 4 gallons, that's ridiculous. I pay $2.89 per gallon for ethanol free 91 octane here in Arkansas. ethanol free gas is usually plentiful near lakes and rivers because most outboard engines need ethanol free fuel.

That's about what I pay. Fortunately we have a store that I drive by every day that carries it. EFG and farm diesel are two of their top selling items. I use EFG in all my small engines. It saves some headaches.

Ford 2000; 3 cyl. gas.; 4/1 trans.....I'm finding more and more stations that carry ethanol-free gas around me I'm happy to say. I keep about 15 gallons on hand for mowers, tractor or small engine use and always mix in StaBil when I fill my cans. If it's getting 4-6 months old, I pour what's left of it in my vehicles and go fill up my cans again. Around here it's about 50 cents more than regular gas. I always tell the attendants I appreciate them carrying E0 whenever I go inside to pay up. I'm no expert on fuels and don't know the science but most of the mechanics I talk to blame ethanol for a lot of engine woes.

Well, we got a brand new Sheetz gas station within the last month,, and they went the opposite way,,

They sell a grade of gas that is $0.20 below the 87 octane price,, I assume it is the E85?
No other station in the area sells E85,, I hope no one buys the stuff, maybe they will transition the tank to no-ethanol.

We have a half dozen no ethanol stations now, including a VERY reasonable priced one at a local Walmart,,,

Yes.....but it would seem to be quite a drive from Sacramento to Arkansas to buy 4 gallons of ethanol free gas.
Some areas in the US prohibit the sale of ethanol free gas, except in sealed containers, at exorbitant prices.

Lobbyists are pushing for 15 percent ethanol here in Missouri, I have contacted my legislators to voice my objections The last new car I bought in 2014 is flex fuel, not that I intend to run that garbage in it, at least I know the rubber in the system is made to resist deterioration from alcohol. I need to rebuild the carb in my old lawn tractor, ethanol ruined the float in it.
I have a few Harleys, I am fortunate to have an ethanol free station close by. He is on the route to a popular lake, so many boaters fill up there.
I use nothing but Realfuel in my string trimmer, blower, and chainsaw.

Many thanks for the pure gas link. There are not many sources of ethanol free in California. But I found a gas station selling it about a mile off US101, in Redwood Valley. Right on my way between Sacramento and the coast. Cost $29 for 4 gallons. All I need it for is weed eater, lawn mower, and chain saw. The guys at the station pumped it by hand out of a 55 gal drum in the service bay, I guess there is not a lot of demand.

Personaly i would buy that stuff. Old E0 fuel is no better than new e10. Old gas is still old gas.

I bought 91 octain E0 from a station that had every kind of gas you could imagine. Was practically yellow coming out of the pump. I now only get it from stations that have E0 as one of there 3 fuels.

Most Stewarts stores in NY carry E0 as there high test. Thats where i get mine.
