Today in about an hour Im headed to my buddy's house , headed to trade a snow blower for a nice wood stove ( for me ) then we are headed out to his 15 acre property to clear up the driveway and a trail or 2. Got all my equipment loaded ( chain saws, gas hedge trimmer and other odd n ends ) another buddy of his is supposed to show later but knowing him I wouldn't count on it since its a long haul for us and even longer for him. Anyways, I will take some pics as the day goes hopefully.

Bought a new can of critter spray as well as a new pair of leather gloves for myself, last pair has some worn holes in the fingertips. Still deciding if we are going to bring back some firewood, I might just stack it there if my wife doesn't cool her heels.

Enjoy. Before buying my land I used to enjoy going up to my buddies place and helping them out with different projects.

Well just got back, The wood stove turned out to be a dud... the guy wouldn't answer his door and we waiting almost an hour, could hear them inside but wouldn't answer the door or texts, then texts me an hour later saying he was in the basement and didn't expect me til 10am... I was knocking you your door at 10am til 10:15 … playing games like a punk.

Anyways we cleared the easement road to the property, since the 1 other who shares it wont... Just so my buddy can get his sold. cut out a ton of Honeysuckle and cut back some Cedars, looks pretty nice again. The neighbor isn't much help, he didn't want to do anything to help clean it up... ah well, whats to do. ill post pics tomorrow, sore and tired tonight... hit the shower and bed.

No picture of your dinner plate?

It was a Styrofoam container, I practically inhaled it. We picked up Mexican take out ( I got Chicken Fajitas )

Anyways, here are the pictures but they don't really do it justice. I didn't get pics further back where the pads were that 2 mobiles used to sit, the well, septic and electrical panel are. Will be going out again soon to spray and whack down some overgrowth in the clearing. Pics were taken from same point of view, we cut from the tire ruts to the barbed wire fence of the neighbor which was about a 5' swath all the way down to the gates.

Honestly, I stopped reading at "headed to trade a snow blower for a nice wood stove ( for me ) then we are headed out to his 15 acre property to clear up the driveway and a trail or 2."

Figure if he was a good friend and not a "buddy" he wouldn't be trading you.

Now, after reading more, it just kind of sounds like you did volunteer work for a stupid person who happens to be your friend?

Please read up on easements and do more research....

The above is just for starters.

From what what I gather from what you've written so far, you were taken advantage of by your "friend". Seems you were lured in with a trade with someone who isn't your friend, but someone your friend knows. Sounds like your friend set up up with a shyster...

ADDED the fact that your "friend" wants to sell the property to make money, and that property is part of an easment.

If you were my son, I'd tell you to ditch this friend ASAP.

By chance your buddy isn't going on the Jerry Springer show in the near future is he?

A serious question aside, how many trailers did you fill up per what you have in the pic? Thing that has always amazed me since we moved here is the amount of "trailer loads" cutting "bush" actually takes up has amazed me. Wood chipper in hindsight seems like a great investment.

All that said, YOU sound like a very good friend. I honestly do think you were taken advantage of.

Sorry for the confusion, I was beat... No, My buddy has been my best friends for over 30 years, I was going to help him clear up some of the property ( and all is cool on the easement as all landowners involved are well informed of the sale of his property and on the same page with cleaning it up, one farmer down the road did the cutting of the grass with his brush hog ) But I was picking up my buddy to help load the wood stove onto my truck then go pick up his truck and trailer to head out to the property. The guy trading we didn't know and turned out to be an *** not answering messages and texts although we got there a bit early we waited until the agreed time before knocking.... another reason I hate the city.
