I hit a stump yesterday with the bush hog and shut down. Restarted tractor and restarted bush hog. Too much vibration. Shut it down and went back to the garage. Parked with the hog in the air at the top of the carriage house ramp. Blades are crossed. Happened one time on the 4010 and LX-4. These seem locked tighter.
Anyone have something they've done to make this easier? I may have to actually remove one blade to get them unstuck. If so, I'll remove the other and do my sharpening (more like raggedy edge straightening) now.
Fortunately, I was done for the day: just running up on my neighbor's side cutting down weeds.
