If you are trespassing on a millitary base, the MPs most certainly have juristiction and can arrest you just like US Forest Rangers can in Federal parks.I wonder how the Civilian Police pulled that off, because neither Civilian Police, nor a Sheriff have jurisdiction on Military reservations. as far as the potential, or actual trespassing on the Military reservation goes. it's the job of the Military Police, who can only eject you if you are not a military member..
You're preaching to the choir...unfortunately the ignorant, ovine electorate has allowed the inmates the power to run the asylum...I did mention election reform with less partisanship but there is little that can be done without a major reform of the gov. through petitions etc...
Congress is inept enough....naivety is not a good thing...
That I could very much agree with - I really dislike party affiliation being listed on state-printed voting materials. Political parties should not be supported/subsidized by any level of government ...and the rules that political parties get to play by as compared to the rules individuals running independently have to play by seem to frequently give greater leeway to the large political parties.
The problem is that the people who understand the above are smart... too smart to run for public office.
