I have a G3033H. I had the LB1102 backhoe on it for a few hours with no problems. After removing the backhoe, I took the extension hydraulic lines out of the loop, and re-connected the hydraulic line fittings. I had the Hydraulic Lift Control in the up position, with the Down Speed Control (DSC) Knob turned clock wise (to the right) to keep arms locked. Needing to install a PTO driven wood shipper, I went to lower the 3-point but it seems frozen in the up position. I backed out the down speed control knob to no effect. I can actuate the lift/lower lever and hear the pump loading a little, but no down motion. I'm thinking there may be an issue with the DSC knob or valve, I may have over tightened it. Any advice on what to check, disassemble, clean, and replace, etc would be greatly appreciated. I've used the 3-point flawlessly for over 200 hours on the tractor. Hydraulic fluids are good and at proper fill. All filters changed at the 50 hour mark. whstrat@gmail.com

Try loosening the valve further than you think you should need to - just to be sure it's far enough. If the three point arms don't lower on their own try adding some weight - pulling them down, or whatever. Sometimes they can be reluctant to lower under just their own weight.

Thanks for the response. I tried standing on the lower arms but I'm a light weight. I have a ballast box I use in the winter, it's full of rocks.... I'm just hoping I didn't damage the valve in there. I'll post a follow up.

I fixed it!

The Down Speed Control knob and extension shaft came loose from the valve. I had to remove the seat and the front seat mount bracket to put a wrench to the actual valve, to loosen it.
