Pronovost P-680 Snow Blower Question

I am looking at a Pronovost P-680 that's up for auction. Can this snow blower be mounted to the back of a tractor? Everything I see online shows them mounted to the front.

As far as I can tell it is a standard 3 point hitch rear push snowblower. So yes, it is meant to go on the back of a tractor.

Just sold a Lucknow. I got tired of looking at it beside the barn doing nothing. Bought a 10 foot plow and that was it for the blower.

That is a three point hitch snow blower. Be prepared for a lot of bidding on it
when you go to the auction. Do not leave a bid for it as you will lose out on it.

Auctions almost by their definition mean the winner pays more than most people think something is worth. Don't get me wrong, I like auctions, but also watch people overpay for stuff badly just so they can "win".

Before things start, figure out what an item is worth new, used & to you. Never ever bid more than that. You may loose, but that just means you didn't overpay.

Biomass to be exact. Wood chip fired. Very familiar with them. The outfit I retired from had one for low pressure steam. Too bad I don't have a picture of the rest of the system, just the boiler. I was the 'head fireman'.... IOW, clinker shoveler.

Pronovost is a quality product for a big price made in Canada.

Often used by commercial snow clearing companies and disposed of when at the end of a hard life..

Unless you know its history, I would not pay much for it and would be prepared to replace drive chain, sprockets, pto joints and hope the gearbox has life left.
