Where to buy a radiator for Branson 3820i?

To fix my radiator, I had the repair close off a couple of the tubes. It mostly works fine. However, if I have to spend a long time mowing in the summer, it begins to overheat. I checked with the local Branson dealer and they want over $650 for a new one. I see Kubota radiators on Ebay for around $150. Are there any alternative radiators that would fit that would be more affordable? Any help appreciated!

You ALWAYS get what you pay for. Man up and order from your dealer and be happy.

If you have an actual radiator shop nearby you may be able to have the radiator core replaced. Depending on the radiator there may be double or triple cores available for it (more cooling tubes).

I think it's "you usually get what you pay for." A few years ago when my radiator first got damaged, the local Branson dealer quoted me $429 for a new Branson radiator. He later sold his dealership to the current dealer and there's no other dealers around here. Happy is when I do get what I pay for.

Branson retail is $572.00 plus shipping cost. Not a cheap radiator.

There is the "no dick'n around trying to find a better deal and then make it fit" premium in that price.

If your repairing something you need, the money difference is soon forgotten.
