Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

OK. Just a few questions.
First of all, which backhoe?
Are the subframes of which you speak specific to certain backhoes or is that a universal fit type of thing?
And lastly...how does that work? Does the subframe mimic the 3 point lower arms and if so how exactly does it attach.

I have been considering adding a backhoe but I do not want to damage my tractor in any way.

The subframes are unique to the tractor/backhoe combination. All the ones I know of have 4 points of attachment. Some have all 4 points at the back of the tractor, mine has 2 points at the back and 2 points at the mid point of the tractor. On mine, the 2 points at the back slip into a slot, and the 2 at the mid point have a pin. The biggest problem is alignment of tractor with the backhoe when attaching, it has to be pretty close, i.e. within a 1/2" or less or you can't get it attached. Thus a dolly for the backhoe is very helpful.

The Woods 4 point quick attach subframe I mentioned earlier has all 4 points at the rear (The subframe itself stays on the tractor full-time). The bottom two are slots that it slides in to. The upper two have pins. I just drive my tractor into position, hook up the hydraulics and use the backhoe's controls to lift it into position. No dolly involved, since the backhoe is stored outside on softer ground, but I've never had a problem, and even when I'm out of practice, it doesn't take long.

I find the bits in the freebie screwdriver too soft but it does make an excellent file handle.

I got a six foot box beam level from Harbor Freight and with a 20% coupon it was about $18.00 and seems well worth it vs. say more than $40 at other places.

Their stocking levels are becoming a 'Do'. All too often I go for something and they don't have it. 'We'll get another truck tomorrow' doesn't help me today. And not just me. As I was wandering after hearing that, I overheard the same answer to several other queries about different items.

Excellent idea, I have a similar screwdriver handle that is missing the bits, that will be a excellent used for it.

I have ti say, probably the best item I ever bought at HF is their 2500 PSI gas pressure washer. Has a Pred motor and some Chinese no name axial pump on it but, I've used it hard for 4 years now (I wash down ll my farm equipment, 2 cars and my pickup truck regularly and I've never had on issue with it. Starts first pull, uses no oil and never lets me down.

I've never even changed the spark plug. All I do is once a year, change the oil, clean the air filter and change the oil in the pump (30 weight non detergent). Thats it.

For 250 bucks (probably costs more now), it was a bargain.

Found that out last week myself. I wanted to buy the Zurich 200 buck code reader and it wasn't in stock and I got the same story.. Be on the truck next week.

It's been kind of recent too, maybe the last year or so. I don't remember it being like that before. But I'm also seeing a lot more turnover. Every time I go in, I see new faces. In the past, it was just the opposite, almost always the same faces, no matter which day of the week. I used to know some of them by name. Not any more.

I've heard the song about another truck coming too many times. The clerks must learn to say that as trainees.
