We have property there but I'm thinking about another area now. Florida is warm enough..but the RifRaff is creeping up the coast from the south. ..it's real crowded and ...well... I don't particularly want to be on any episodes of Cops ...any time soon.
We were working down in SC last month and did a bit of window shopping ... land is getting pricy down there..I think it's a bubble..but who knows. We were about 45 minutes north of Savanna..fairly quiet and still enough around so you are not missing any needs. ..

I'm working in FLA now, Orlando area. No way I could live anywhere near here; too flat, too hot, and way too much traffic. We lived in SC for 23 years, beautiful state with lots to offer. We moved to southwest VA for the mild winters, cooler summers, and the mountains. You wouldn't believe how far your money can go there and property taxes are cheap. . Poke around on Zillow in Patrick, Carroll, or Greyson counties. Not to mention... they are all RED counties, you'd fit right in.

I think if you have intelligent friends in today痴 world it would surely be something that came out in conversation. Now I don稚 know for certain some acquaintances political standing but for most it痴 absolutely clear.
Now for the kicker every single democrat I know voted for our current republican president, or at least claimed to during conversations about how insane the remaining democrats have become.

The few acquaintances that supported Hillary and admit to it have avoided our friends and us since the election. To be honest we don稚 miss them at all. Thier absence has made friendly gatherings much more enjoyable and the conversation isn稚 hindered by thier stupidity as it once was.

For 8 years while the previous POTUS was in office there were just as many people that despised him as do the current one...the big difference is how the two different sides have reacted...

The right held their tongues for the most part and kept their outrage under control...the left on the other hand have acted like nothing but a bunch of unruly school children with no manners...the celebrity bunch has acted even less mature (let alone civil)...
