KubotainNH, the Portland model you linked to is 120v. Is that the one you mean?

Also, you mentioned that you've adapted a battery-operated weed whacker to run off other cordless power packs. You do realize, I hope, that you're now obligated to share with the rest of us how you did that! :D

Hmm, you're right. I could have sworn the one I saw in a recent catalog was 20v. Humph, I think I threw the catalog away. As for the adapting, all it takes is some wire jumpers and a bungee cord. :D

Same problem, NLA battery and charger for a $10 Goodwill Remington Pole Saw. Ryobi power works fine. Battery holder is a scavenged Ryobi flashlight plus some zip cord. Now, later, I carry the battery holder in a fanny pack with 6 ft of cord out to the tool, that makes the tool lighter and easier to use.

I've gotten quite a bit of use out of this in my orchard. Total cost $11.

Ah, the extension is a good idea. At least my packs are pretty light anyway.

I have the 3rd up scanner in the original line up of 4, I believe it was around $130 with a coupon. It's worked very well in everything I've tried it on. A week ago I lost my auto transmission in my 2014 Wrangler, limped home in like mode (2nd gear only) and took the truck to work. Got home and scanned it..... Right rear and left front wheel speed sensor. Nothing about the transmission. Went online asking Google about 2 wheel speed sensors causing transmission safe mode.... Yep.

I ran and grabbed the 2 indicated sensors, replaced them, reset the computer and the Jeep is back to smashing rocks!

I'm totally cool with the HF scanner.

Good lights, I have 7! I do need one more though! And two more packs of ratchet straps.. I use a ton of those.

Been working on some old Finish Mowers and I need several wheels. Looking at the 8" solid, 10" solid and 10" Pneumatic as opposed to the more pricey purpose-made ones by Carlisle and others brands. Thoughts?

My only thought is the pneumatic just sounds like trouble.. stick with the solid.
