What lube for off Road mini bike chain

I went to Tractor Supply and bought a Coleman Mini Bike. Now it's time to lubricate the chain. The only thing I've found in the instructions say to use (chain lube) I'm considering chainsaw bar oil, chain wax, or 10W-30. Does anyone have a preference?

Go to a bike shop and buy a can of bike chain spray lube

I always used a spray can of chain lube. Got it at the motorcycle shop. It "dried" on the chain and looked like wax. Didn't attract & hold dirt/dust quite as bad a a "wet" lube.

Both of the previous replies are correct. A chain will spit all regular oil off as it spins around the sprockets. Real chain lube gets somewhat tacky once it is on the chain so it tends to stay put.

Chainsaw oil would work just fine

Been riding dirt bikes since I was in grade school and if you had a high powered motocross bike I would recommend chain lube made specifically for that application. You arent spinning that mini bike chain all that fast. Just make sure you keep it lubed

Any of those will work. If I had a bike, I'd use my spray Fluid Film. Bar oil is probably 10w30 but labeled 30w. That's probably 10w30.

Think even graphite would work and be less messy.

I bought two of those Coleman’s. They are a hoot to ride. I modified one with a Torque converter. I ground off the throttle limit screw on both. Very good value for the price! If you will be riding daily I would get the motorcycle spray film lube. If ur only riding on the weekend I would use chainsaw bar oil (this is what I use ).

O ring chain or not? Alot of Oring chains look like they need to be lubed yet prob dont.
