What lube for off Road mini bike chain

In a novel I was reading, she lubed her bicycle chain with silicone spray. There's some other stuff out now that I've bought that would work. Think it's silicone based. The stuff you put on the 3ph moving stuff would work (actually I just use this new stuff or silicone spray for 3ph).

I got mine mainly for fixing fences through the woods and checking on cattle. It seems too fast for the woods and I'm thinking of switching from the fifty to a sixty tooth sprocket to slow it down. Do you think that would work?

That should work. It will lower downhill top speed 20 percent and raise hill climbing torque by the same 20 percent

I ordered some Chain Wax brand chain and cable lube. As things turned out I haven't needed the bike yet so I might be able to hold out until it arrives and not get the chain greasy. If an emergency arises, I've got the bar oil and I'm used to being greasy.

As for the larger sprocket or torque converter, I'll ride the bike like it came for a while before I decide. I might even get used to it like it is. Thanks for all the suggestions.

I bought two of those Coleman痴. They are a hoot to ride. I modified one with a Torque converter. I ground off the throttle limit screw on both. Very good value for the price! If you will be riding daily I would get the motorcycle spray film lube. If ur only riding on the weekend I would use chainsaw bar oil (this is what I use ).

I'm just getting used to riding in the woods. I was going along next to a poorly erected barbed wire fence about 3 feet high when I came to a small log. I stood beside the bike, lifted the front wheel over and gave it some gas hoping it would pull it's self across. Unfortunately, my throttle hand kept twisting back causing the bike to shoot up and come down on the fence. When I got it untangled, the bike was on the other side. In my book, it had JUMPED THE FENCE and I wasn't even on it. No blood was spilled and I only ripped the seat a little when I dragged the bike back under the fence.
You're right, these things are a HOOT!

I always use chain saw oil

I've been trouble finding my Camo minibike in the woods so I bought a key chain beeper for it. We'll see how that works out.

I use it on a street-bike, but the way it performs, it would work even better off-road.
