That would come in handy if you are ever in the doghouse.

Them once a month dog house days are long gone for me now, got to old to care..........................

High of 61 today and mostly sunny, low of 45 tonight. Perfect weather. Not cold enough to start the wood stove yet since the suns heat during the day carries over through the night.

Wish on a day like this I could have do over, beautiful day to work out side. I went down back and hauled some 5 year old oak tops that I gathered up last fall, still fairly solid, should be great firewood on these cool night we're getting now.

The bark's starting to peel off, they should be just about perfect for burning.

The only oak that I have on my property is about 15 feet tall. I don't know how it got there, it must have been dropped by a crow. The first time that I saw it was after I had my field reclaimed. It's right on the edge and will be a nice shade tree someday.

My wood spliter awaits for next weekend, the pile with tractor was cut this past winter, the other pile was cut winter 2018 and is deteriorating fast. Firewood looses hardness after one year unless it's under cover, I'm thinking of making a 100'x 500' woodshed with basement...........

"They" say that to get rid of problem squirrels, get rid of the food source. I cut every spruce tree within 500 feet of my buildings... and still have just as many squirrels.
I'm so tired of shooting them I just leave them alone.
