If he's physically ok and just moved on that's great.

If he died and is now in heaven he totally isn't interested in our concerns. And that is great.

I completely agree. My only concern was if he was injured or ill.

I'm hesitant to post this because I can not verify 100% but it all seems to match.
I'm afraid it looks like Norm might not be with us anymore. I don't do Facebook but I just had my wife look him up again. We found a guy with the same name (first and last) living in the same area (state and city) with a profile picture standing in front of a Yanmar. 99% sure it is him. His Facebook posts all stopped about the same time Norm's posts stopped. Someone recently posted a RIP comment to his facebook page.

Well I hate to hear that!! I would concur the exact same thing that you did. Sounds like it's the guy, to many unique things, unless his name is something super common, like Gary Brown, and he lives in huge area it has to be him.

Norm of that was you and it's TRUE, RIP and thanks for all the advice over the years. May God rest your soul.

Aaron if your wife can post to his Facebook, please pass along to his family that the community here misses him.

Details that might appear on his Facebook: He was a serious amateur artist, and long retired from a career as a NCR cash register tech.

Malicious stalking of course is bad. Doxing or worse - swating, etc to bring harm IRL to someone you met online is evil.

However this interest in Norm by his brothers in this small Yanmar group is concern for a respected friend.

Many of us who have been here for years were welcomed by Norm. We've lost a brother.
